On August 24 2009 the Sidmouth Herald reported jigsaw king, John Dyson, officially as the “fastest puzzle solver in Britain” after he completed a 18,000 piece puzzle in 286 hours.
just a week before he has finished the 18,000 piece Jungle Scenes Ravensburger puzzle he got for Christmas by his two sons.
the 10 feet by 6 feet four-picture puzzle is considered the hardest puzzle in the world to do, and that meant a challenge for John.
Only two other people in the world had completed it at the time, the reason for it being probably that the dark green border around the pictures had over 2,000 pieces exactly the same.
